HalloW33D 2026: Year Three at High Functions in Queens

The 3rd Annual HalloW33D is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, at 6 PM at High Functions, inside Silk Road NYC at 166-30 Jamaica Ave, Jamaica NY 11432. It closes an October calendar of games, creative projects and karaoke. The annual name has a traceable history in the venue’s own announcements and its partners’ recaps.

Admission is 21+ with ID, with entry with a $20+ purchase per person. High Functions is a community and cowork event space; nothing is consumed on site. The October calendar supplies current event details. Earlier photographs and activities describe previous editions, rather than promising an identical program for 2026.

October 2024: Trick or Treat Yo Self

High Functions’ October 24, 2024 announcement placed Trick or Treat Yo Self on the following day, October 25. The same post listed a Mario Kart and Smash Brothers tournament on October 24, a Sew-A-Spooky-Ting workshop on October 26, and Queens Runs New York on October 28. The Halloween party was part of a wider run of activities at the venue.

The account followed with a recap on October 30, describing the Halloween evening and thanking its supporters. An October 31 post focused on the costumes and the community’s creativity. Read together, the announcement and recaps establish the first-year celebration without confusing the later posting dates with the party date.

A pumpkin-carving recap had already appeared on October 22. It named Kay and described the carved designs and jack-o’-lanterns. That post provides a separate seasonal memory; its caption does not establish the exact day of the workshop. The pumpkin image accompanying this story comes from that activity, rather than the Halloween party itself.

October 2025: a second annual gathering

NYC Vibe Tribe’s October 29, 2025 recap named the next edition 2nd Annual HALLOW33D: A Night to Remember. It described costumed guests and a toilet-paper mummy contest, and credited photography to @papisant0s. A Silk Road backup-account post the following day also identified the second annual party and thanked Digital Memories for its photographs.

Those posts establish the second edition and its costume-centered character. Neither caption supplies the exact party day. Their dates therefore remain recap dates in this history. The documented games are memories of 2025, not an announced activity list for October 30, 2026.

High Functions also posted The Great Chill-O-Ween Game Night announcement on October 29, 2025. Its cover advertised October 31 at 6 PM. That separate game-night promotion should not be mistaken for the second annual party or assigned the announcement’s posting date.

Year three and the surrounding October program

This year’s Halloween week includes two distinct events: the October 27 HISCORE Mortal Kombat & Mario Kart Costume Party, followed by HalloW33D on October 30. Both start at 6 PM. The Tuesday double bracket belongs to the league schedule; the Friday gathering has its own listing.

Earlier in the month, Haunted Hues on October 9, Scary-oke on October 16 and Pumpkin Carving on October 23 offer other ways into the seasonal program. The creative Fridays guide covers those dates, and the October overview brings the full calendar together.

The High Functions history and legacy page place HalloW33D alongside the space’s other recurring programs. Store hours are Sun–Wed 10 AM–9 PM and Thu–Sat 10 AM–10 PM. Current event details should be checked before arrival. Silk Road NYC’s license is OCM-CAURD-24-000062.
