Dispensary Near the 169 St F Train: Five Blocks From Hillside Ave to Our Door
169 St is the closest subway stop to Silk Road NYC. Here is the five-block walk, the buses at Hillside Ave and 169th St, and how to order ahead from the train so the bag is packed when you walk in.

If you ride the F to 169 St, you are five blocks from Silk Road NYC. We are a New York State licensed adult-use cannabis dispensary at 166-30 Jamaica Ave, on the south side of Jamaica Ave between Merrick Blvd and 168th St, and 169 St is the closest subway stop to our door. Our license is OCM-CAURD-24-000062, and you can check it on the state list at cannabis.ny.gov/dispensary-location-verification before you ever walk in.
I am Sohan Bashar, the owner. I grew up off Hillside Ave, and the walk from 169 St down 168th St is the one I still make most often. This page is that walk, the buses that stop at Hillside Ave and 169th St, and how to use our online dispensary so your order is waiting for you.
From the 169 St station (about 7 minutes, 0.3 mi)
- Take the exit at Hillside Ave and 168th St.
- Walk south on 168th St, away from Hillside Ave, about five blocks.
- At Jamaica Ave, cross to the south side and turn right.
- Silk Road NYC is on your left, half a block down, before you reach Merrick Blvd.
Look for the pink neon Silk Road sign and the Licensed Recreational Cannabis Dispensary sign on the south side of the avenue. The state's verification sign is by our door. The walking maps show every station, including Jamaica Center and Parsons Blvd.
The F is the train that stops at 169 St. If you are coming from Jamaica Center on the E, J or Z, the walk is about 11 minutes along Jamaica Ave instead; the maps cover that one too.
What you pass on the way
Hillside Ave between roughly 169th and 179th St is the stretch people now call Little Bangladesh: groceries, sweet shops, phone stores, travel agents, and restaurants that stay busy late. Turn down 168th St and the street changes to apartment buildings and small shops before it opens onto Jamaica Ave, the borough's oldest shopping street.
Two landmarks help if you get turned around. The 168th St Jamaica bus terminal sits two blocks from our door, and the Queens Public Library's Central Library, at 89-11 Merrick Blvd, is about a four-minute walk away.
People outside the stations and along Jamaica Ave sometimes stop shoppers and promise better or cheaper weed. Silk Road sells only inside our store at 166-30 Jamaica Ave and through our own delivery. Anyone selling on the street is not us, and what they sell has not been tested. Why buy licensed.
Buses at Hillside Ave and 169th St
- Q31: stops at Hillside Ave and 169th St. It runs north along Utopia Pkwy past St. John's University, so it is the easy ride down from that side of Queens.
- 168th St Jamaica bus terminal: the Q2, Q3, Q36, Q76, Q77 and Q82 stop here, two blocks from the door.
- Merrick Blvd and Jamaica Ave: the Q17, about a minute's walk.
The 2025 Queens bus redesign moved some stops along Hillside Ave, so check MTA Bus Time for your route before you ride.
Heading back to the train
The return trip is the same five blocks in reverse: walk east on Jamaica Ave to 168th St, turn left, and head north to Hillside Ave. The 169 St entrances are at the corner. Keep your purchase in the sealed bag from the counter until you get home. New York limits where you can smoke or vape cannabis in public, and the subway is not one of the places you can.
Order ahead: our online dispensary on your phone
Silk Road NYC is a licensed online dispensary and a store at the same address. The live menu is the same inventory our registers see, so what you add to the cart is on the shelf.
- Open the live menu on the train and choose pickup.
- Most pickup orders are ready in about 15 minutes, which is about how long it takes to get from the platform to our counter with a stop for coffee.
- Show your ID at the counter, pay, and go.
If you would rather not make the trip, the same online dispensary handles same-day delivery from 166-30 Jamaica Ave, with our own licensed drivers.
What is on the shelf
The brands below were on our shelf at the end of October 2026. They rotate as batches sell through, so the live menu is what is actually in stock right now.
- Flower: eighths and ounces from New York growers including Claybourne Co., Hepworth, SkyRose, Preferred Gardens and Voice of the Plant. Every jar carries a package date; ask for it. Flower menu.
- Pre-rolls: singles and packs from Jeeter, Claybourne Co., Stone Road, Hepworth and Rove. Pre-roll menu.
- Vapes: 510 carts and all-in-ones from Jaunty, Fernway, turn and Olio.
- If you do not smoke: gummies from Off Hours and Jaunty (most are 10 mg a piece, so start with one and give it time), ayrloom canned drinks and Harney Brothers cannabis tea bags.
- Hash and rosin: ERVA, SiLLY NiCE and Olio. Rosin and hash.
- Gear: RAW and OCB papers, Clipper lighters, GRAV and Illadelph glass.
