How it works
Show us the deal. A screenshot of the other dispensary's online menu with the price and today's date visible, or a receipt from the last 24 hours. A text from a friend does not count.
We check it is the same thing. Same brand, same product, same size and the same form (eighth to eighth, 1g cart to 1g cart). If we do not carry that exact item, we offer the closest comparable product we have — same category, same size, similar THC — at the matched price.
We match it at the register. The match is applied to that sale, in store or on a pickup order, by the budtender with a manager's okay. Delivery orders can be matched at pickup or by calling the store before the driver leaves.
What qualifies
Deals from licensed New York adult-use dispensaries only. Verify any store on the OCM dispensary list; we will.
The deal has to be live today and open to the public: a menu price, a posted special, a sale. Not a one-time coupon, loyalty-point redemption, first-visit offer, bundle, or clearance of a product that is being discontinued.
One matched item per customer per day. We match the per-unit price before tax; New York's 13% adult-use tax is added at the register the same way everywhere.
"To the best of our ability" means this
We will match any legitimate licensed price down to our own cost on that product. If someone is selling below what we pay the grower, we will tell you that straight, get as close as we can, and point you to the closest product on our wall that we can match. We would rather lose one sale honestly than quietly inflate the next one.
We do not match unlicensed shops, delivery services without an OCM license, or out-of-state prices. The products are not the same thing: everything on our shelf is lab-tested, package-dated and tracked from the grower to the register, and our price includes that.
Why we do this
There are now several licensed dispensaries within a mile of our door, and by law everything any of us sells comes from New York growers, so a lot of the shelves overlap. So the question is not who has the product; it is who you trust with the price and the service. If the only thing between you and us is five dollars on an eighth, we will close that gap at the counter so you do not have to drive.
