The step up from the Bodega is wall thickness. Heavier glass survives the pocket, the table edge and the occasional drop, which is where thin pipes end. If you've broken a spoon before, that's what happened.
Otherwise the format is unchanged: a bowl, a stem, a carb hole on the left side. Cover it while you draw, release to clear.
Keep it clean with a soak rather than picking at the bowl — resin buildup narrows the airway and changes the taste long before it looks bad.
